KM Yachtbuilders is a leading builder of custom aluminum explorer yachts, but the unpredictable nature of custom yacht orders strains the company. How can we both stabilize and increase revenue?
The BeforeInsight
The Bestevaer explorer yacht, co-developed by KM, has gained significant recognition and is a dream yacht for many sailors. With its sturdy yet elegant design, the Bestevaer has the potential to become a design icon. The custom yachts however, are simply out of reach for most of its fans.

By launching a more affordable range of Bestevaer production models and building a design-driven explorer lifestyle brand centered around the concept of freedom, we can appeal to a broader market and enhance stability for the shipyard.
